What we Do
VETMotorsports: Driving Purpose, Empowering Veterans
At VETMotorsports, we harness the power of motorsports to engage, inspire, and empower our nation’s veterans. We’re not a racing team—we’re a mission-driven nonprofit that embeds veterans within professional motorsports teams, offering hands-on, non-clinical outreach that fosters connection, purpose, and renewed motivation.
Since 2013, VETMotorsports has built meaningful partnerships across the motorsports and veteran communities. Through these relationships, we’ve created opportunities for veterans to rediscover their strengths, passions, and sense of belonging in a uniquely immersive environment.
More than 2.8 million Americans have served since 9/11. While 6,840 gave their lives in combat operations, a staggering 115,566 veterans have died by suicide in that same timeframe. The rate of veteran suicide has risen 32% since 2001, with post-9/11 veterans—especially those aged 18–29—being among the most vulnerable.
Why is this happening? One major reason is the military-civilian divide—a deepening disconnect that leaves many veterans feeling isolated and misunderstood after their service. The emotional and physical scars they carry are real, yet often unseen or unsupported.
But there is hope.
Research continues to show that veterans benefit most from programs focused on activity, community engagement, and empowerment. That’s exactly what VETMotorsports delivers.
We offer more than just a seat in the garage. We provide a lifeline—an opportunity to reconnect, re-engage, and rebuild.
Our priorities remain clear: stay true to our mission, earn and keep the trust of the veteran community, and strengthen our organization for long-term sustainability in a post-COVID world.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, advisors, and volunteers, I invite you to join us in this powerful mission of support and connection for Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Gold Star families, and all veterans with service-connected injuries.
Together, we can drive change and save lives.
VETMotorsports provides non-clinical, donor-supported therapy across North America.
